Daryl – Founder & Studio Director

Leads vision, production, and overall strategy for Shattered Bounds. Daryl started Liminal Realms Studio to explore a simple idea: what if we could walk through a living MMORPG layered over our own world? With a background in accounting, business management, and mobile app development, Daryl currently handles project direction, programming, and most of the day-to-day work of bringing Shattered Bounds to life.

Lead Artist (Future Co-Founder)

Owns the visual identity of Shattered Bounds across concept art, environments, characters, and UI. The Lead Artist will define how Shattered Bounds looks and feels – from the first sketches of goblins charging a glowing hill, to the AR overlays players see through their glasses, to the branding that ties Liminal Realms Studio together. This future co-founder will help translate the vision into a cohesive visual language across games, marketing, and physical spaces.

Lead Engineer / Programmer (Future Co-Founder)

Leads the technical architecture and core gameplay systems for Shattered Bounds. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for keeping Proto-Park and future experiences fast, stable, and scalable – from mixed reality headset workflows to AI-driven enemy behavior and player portals. As a co-founder, they’ll help choose the tech stack, set coding standards, and translate wild ideas into reliable, testable systems.

Lead Writer / Narrative Designer (Future Co-Founder)

Builds the story, lore, and narrative systems of Shattered Bounds.
The Lead Writer will develop the World Bible, questlines, NPC personalities, and the subtle bits of lore that make players feel like they’re stepping into a living realm rather than a one-off game. As a co-founder, they’ll help weave narrative into everything – from Proto-Park missions to future Tower runs and park-wide story arcs.

Lead Musician / Composer (Future Co-Founder)

Creates the soundscapes and music that define Shattered Bound’s atmosphere. The Lead Musician will compose themes for Proto-Park encounters, ambient tracks for zones, and sound cues that guide players through AR experiences. As a co-founder, they’ll shape how Shattered Bounds sounds – from quiet tension before a goblin wave to triumphant endings and mysterious, liminal spaces between adventures.
